This yoga teacher's workshop is intended to be an enlightening and inspiring few hours of postural alignment, bio-mechanics and yoga teaching methodology. Participants will have an opportunity to explore a simple structure for leading students into a balanced state of calm and strong in postures as well as a "flow state" in the transitions between poses. Shannon has been teaching yoga, functional movement, Pilates and meditation for 15 years and is currently working towards her personal training certification. During her career as a teacher she has owned a yoga studio, been a successful business consultant, led teacher trainings and retreats and she currently manages the yoga, fitness and education events aspect of The Hive North Shore. She takes pride in the fact that she has worked with over 500 certified yoga teachers as a teacher's mentor to help support them in building a fulfilling, long term career in yoga.
